Hello,

I've had several previous computers, custom built for me by a company in Sweden. As we all know technology advances quickly and I'm way behind on this department. My last computer had a i7 2600k cpu and a 60gig SSD ( quickly found myself short of space haha)

Main use will be Gaming on sparetime.

Budget, lower the better, I don't really have a price set in mind, quite flexible, but please, I'm not a multi millionare hehe..... So bare that in mind if you pick my components

So I'm looking for decent components that will be easy to upgrade in future. Case wise, I'd want something clean, silent and with good airflow, dust filters that are washable. No seethrough windows or unneccesary light/lighting. Midi/large tower? I used to have a Cosmos, redicilously large and heavy at that!

Powerful enough PSU, in the past I've always used corsair, perhaps there're better brands nowdays? I'd prefer a semi/fully modular PSU as it helps airflow.

Intel/AMD?, I know when I last purchased components, Intel were the leading company, is that still the case or have AMD caught up? Obviously you want most bang for buck and something upgrade friendly for future.

So as far as Motherboard and CPU is concerned, I'll leave it it whoever hands gives me advice. :)

I definantly want a SSD, they aren't as pricey as they used to be. Would 256gb be sufficient? and have a larger HDD as storage? Todays games take up so much storage, especially games like ArmA3 and such.

I'll attempt to build this system by myself.... ooooh dear:p

Many Thanks,
Michael

Yeah, I will be needing everything, keyboard, display, mouse etc but I know roughly what to get and that isn't part of the build budget. As far as Windows is concerned, its 8.1 isn't it? hate it with a passion......

Regards,
Michael
