Hey,
My brothers PC is having trouble connecting to the router and I'm kind of out of ideas.
Basically it is connected wirelessly to the router, and it says it is also connected to the internet, however it will not load any web pages (on IE or Chrome) or connect to windows update/any other program.
A ping test to google.com shows 75% packet loss and pinging the router shows 25% packet loss. this means nothing to me though.
I'm going to try and update the wireless cards drivers to see if that works but need to find the right version. Also he has recently installed Norton 360 but the problems initially started before this install (however its presence is not helping
) Have tried manually changing its ip etc. and also tried resetting the network adaptor.
Are there any networking wizards who can give me some advise on the next step? really stuck for ideas.
Thanks
