Help with converting video file to edit

Hi guys,

For work, I had to interview someone on our Panasonic HC-V500.

Now, everything worked fine, now I need to make a cut in the middle, but I just can't get the file to open in MoviePlus 5 or Windows Movie Maker?!

I've converted it to MP4, when I try to convert it with Pazera to AVI only the audio comes out no video.

When I open it in MediaInfo it says - Video - AVC and Audio - AC-3

Download a trial of Adobe Premiere, that will import the AVCHD file that the camera creates.

Will I be able to cut with that? The cut is in the middle of the interview so will need to blend it after?

Argh, well Adobe is'nt even installing for me.

I've literally tried everything, i'm really stressing now!

I try to load the MTS file into it but it says it isn't recognised.

How big is the file Belloni?

1GB

It says it doesn't recognise the file type in MPEGStream.

I need to compress the file somehow it's 1GB.

My internet download is very slow at the moment so uploading it to google drive will take hours and my manager is asking for it now!

I've got the MP4 version it's 244MB, when I go to "Send to compress file" it doesn't compress it? I need to email it over ASAP.

I need to send it to a friend to try and edit, when using that does it show everyone who was included in the transfer?

Upload the 244MB version to dropbox or something, and tell me the bit you wish to cut, i'll make the edit, convert it to any format you wish and re-upload - better be quick though!

It's saying 10 minutes and rising for drop box FFS internet.

I've got it into movieplus 5 as AVI, but the FPS is very low?! Why is this?! I used Freemake convert.
