Hi all would really appreciate some help, up until last week I was ok with the build that I had but when I moved to a new house, during the transition my motherboard broke.
This was my setup:

Cpu: Core 2 quad q9450
Mb: Asus P5e3 Premium Wifi
Ram: Corsair 4gb ddr3 1600mhz
Cooler: Tuniq Tower
Case: Antec p180(full tower, not the mini)
Gpu: Gigabyte 4890 1gb
Os: windows 7 ultimate
Psu: Evga 600w

I have a very low budget of 200£ and I would like to use the gpu+ram in the new system because trying to get a new lga 775 board that supports ddr3 is more expensive than getting something more updated such as a i3 or a i5 with an updated motherboard as well.
My question is, please suggest a cpu+motherboard in which I can for the time being use my ram+gpu to play games, mostly World of Warcraft on High or even Ultra if possible bearing in mind that my budget is 200£.
Cheers and thank you for your time.;)

Is that 2x2GB sticks? You'd ideally want 8gb for gaming, but if you really wanted to keep it;

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4440 3.10GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £139.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97P-D3 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £61.99
Total : £211.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

or AMD;

YOUR BASKET
1 x AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8320 Black Edition 3.50GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail £109.99
1 x Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 AMD 990X (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £79.99
Total : £199.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

WoW will run very well on this (more so the Intel as WoW is dual-thread bound), as it is mainly a CPU bound game - I remember someone had an older system like yours with a 7950 GPU, he upgraded to i5 4690k (slight bit faster than this) and it ran great

I think your next port of call after this is to rid yourself of that GPU and RAM and possibly add more RAM in (up to 8GB) and a new GPU

Yes it's 2x2 Corsair Xms3 ddr3 dual channel. It's an oldie, the computer had 4/5years but id did me real good I was still able to play most games at high or medium definition sad to see it go like that. :\
Thanks for that i'll have a look at the parts you suggested.
Cheers.

Would you notice a difference between a i5-4440 and a i5-4460? The truth is I never overclocked and don't really plan on doing. What's the real difference between a 4460 and a 4570 they both seem to be 3.2Ghz?

There won't be a massive difference between all of them, the 4440 will be great. Good upgrade path to to an i7 in the future unlike the am3+ platform which is essentially dead

Ok, great. Cpu sorted then.
Hopefully my last post how about these two:
Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 vs ASRock H97 PRO4 which one do you think is better?
Cheers

I would go for the Z97, as it supports faster ram in the future, can over clock if you drop in a suitable CPU and also is made by gigabyte who have the best warranty and support of any motherboard manufacturer
