Help with CTR colour

Well my search for a decent ITR has been taking longer than expected and my current car badly needs some work done to it so I am anxious to pick something up ASAP. As a result I have been considering a CTR, been out for a test drive in a couple and have to say I really like them, feels a bit slower than the ITR but I think that’s just my mind playing tricks as the teg is much louder and rawer than the CTR.

Anyways ideally I was looking for a night hawk black or milano red (white, I can dream eh?) as I really fancy getting the alloys done in white. I was browsing though sales on piston heads and came across this little beaut, in the add it is stated as being milano red.

Now is it just me or is the shade of red much deeper than the normal milano red? See here

I though it was maybe just the light at first but looking at another photo I don’t think it is. What do you guys think?

I really don’t think I will, coming from a 1.25 fiesta the EP3 is a very nice step up. I have driven both the ITR and the CTR and yes I prefer the ITR but they command pretty high prices relative to age and mileage compared to the EP3.

The ITR is still top of my list though.

DC5 is out of my price range at the moment otherwise I would have one of those in a flash. I do like the ek9 but again it comes down to finding a good un' and they do command a high price.

Well im going to see another teg next week at some point, its black though which is the only thing thats putting me off. I want a CW one, if its in good nick though i think i shall be having it. There is still hope for the teg.
