Below are pictures of 3 coil packs. 2 were replaced at the same time and one was replaced substantially earlier. Is it possible to tell which is which from the images and information on top of the coil packs? I have by own ideas, but would appreciate some other opinions.

Many Thanks!

I'm no expert but the xx/0x part on the bottom row is almost certainly a week number and year, which would most likely relate to the date the part was manufactured

Exactly what I was thinking, looks like week and year numbers to me.

I thought this post was going to be an announcement/coming out of the closet similar to guy who married a VW Beetle. :D

did anyone else see the thread title and think "he wants to know what's used and where it oes in dating...." lol

Hehe, I was a bit hesitant about posting that title, but it did get people reading the thread!

The end letter on the top row of numbers is the coil pack revision (or thats how it works for my pencil coils anyways).

This makes sense, and seems to agree with the 'week/year number' figures.

Thanks for the help guys

The injection moulded parts will have a date stamp on, however that won't mean when the coil pack was actually made.
