i have too many choices to make myself so i need help lol, the whole idea is that i want a htpc that also can act as a game server when the occasion arises

i can..

A. get a £150 Shuttle and put all my current parts in it minus the mobo, psu, 2nd harddrive and un-used cd-drive,

advantages -

-small
-sleek
-portable
-quiet (i hope)

disadvantages-

-cooling
-cost
-not a lot of room for components

or

B. just transfer all this to a case that i already have that will cost me £40 in parts (cooling & lighting) but its a lot bigger and not easily portable.

advantages-
-cooling
-space

disadvantages-
-big
-not easily portable

on top of that either way i need a wireless adapter to go with it...

any ideas?

Do you need it to be small (i.e. space wise) or do you need something that is hidden out of the way or fits in with other AV equipment? If so then the Shuttle is the best option

If you're not going to be moving it much and looks/ size etc isnt an issue then save some money and go for the bugger case

well yer its a little space next to our hifi in the living room on our new tv stand/cabinet thing.

it possibly will be moved a fair bit, though a lot of the time it is possible that it will just be in one place

Any pics of the space, it would give us a idea for how big the space is, and what you can do with it.
