Help with DFI

Right i need some advice. My mates just bought the RD580 crossfire board for his opty 144. What id like to know is a list of things he **** do right away as ive heard the origional bios that comes on the board is unstable??

So does anyone who has one of these boards know which bios etc or can you point me in the direction of somewhere else to help.

Take out the battery and clear cmos for about 20secs, then flash to latest bios.

ok well if anyone has any more help and if someone could tell me which RAM if any this boards prefers / works well with as im thinking of getting one for my opty.
