I have been having a nightmare with the SATA ports on my new asus p5k wifi/ap.The SATA drives keep randomly dissapearing,or locking up.The western digital 500gb drive and nec sata dvd rewriterboth go missing.
I have moved them to different ports now,and they seem to be okay,but what could be causing these problems,is this a known problem specific to this motherboard,and if so would this be enough reason for an rma.
Also if this is a known problem could anybody recommend an alternative board,i dont really trust this one at the moment.
