help with dns setting please

ok i have just got a vps server from here http://www.webfusion.co.uk/vps/linux_value.php

i need to create the dns settings, one is already setup but i need 2, i created the 2nd one but when i go to change it at the domain end it says there is an error

heres the settings i have

ns.mydomain.co.uk
ns2.mydoamin.co.uk

and this is the error

Field Validation Error
Please correct the following issue(s):
Unavailable error in field Host name2

the domain host is godaddy.com, its not my domain, but i have access to it

any ideas on a fix for this please

If you're using nameserver addresses containing the domain name itself (child nameservers) then you need to setup the proper records with your registrar, which means creating ns1.yourdomain and ns2.yourdomain records through your registrar's control panel and pointing them to the IP address given by your host.

Normally webhosts provide nameserver addresses themselves so you simply set your domain to use their nameserver address, but you can also do it this way - either way the record resolves to their IPs
