Help With Drivers.

Hey,

I've got a 7800GT and I'm using the 169.21 drivers. I use the nVidia user interface thing to have the "Next Display" button on all my windows bars. Never had a problem with it before but since using this driver it keeps dissapearing and when I go to turn it back on it crashes explorer and I have to hit my reset button, when it comes back on the user interface is back.

Basically I'm after whats the best driver? Are the Omega ones any good?

I think 169.09 or .17 are the last ones that weren't "broken"
Latest Omegas are based on the .21 and only supposed to improve image quality and perhaps a couple of fps in games
 
Go back a version or two and a find a working one.
when i installed the lattest Omegas a few days ago, i got a huge decrease in performance so i went back to the vanilla ones.
