Help with dual screen settings?

Hello, I have recently tried to dual screen and can't seem to get the settings right.

I have an ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card.

In one socket I have my normal 22" LCD screen which is 1600/900, in the HD socket I have put my 24" LED Television which is 1920/1080.

Everything looks perfect on my normal LCD screen but with the LED dual screen I can't get it right, I have looked at information about resolution etc which seems to be set perfectly.

Though when I look at the 24" screen it looks like it's been centred to a 22" with a black border all around it, and the picture quality and writing looks blurry and not crisp.

A friend mentioned that maybe my graphic card just can't handle a 24" LED screen, but I thought I would ask here just in case it can, and how I go about setting it up perfectly.

I have right clicked on the monitor and made sure the resolution is at 1920/1080, and also looked at the colour collaboration, but it didn't change a thing.

Help would be appreciated!

Is the dodgy screen connected by HDMI by any chance? Have a look in Catalyst Control Centre for Over scan/Underscan setting and move the slider to 0%.

If you're not gaming then a 5450 is easily capable of running 2 1080p screens. I used to use one in my Media Centre to run films and TV (including blu-ray) on a 1080p TV and a photo slideshow on a 19" monitor and the card never broke a sweat. :)

Yes I have used a HDMI cable from the 1080 screen to the HDMI socket of the computer. Will check the Catalyst now, I am using it for dual screen gaming, but also want it to watch movies and things while I game on main screen.
