hi i am looking a get 2 screens about 23 inch but do not have a clue i will be putting them on a duel screen arm or stand will be using them for every day use and gaming

i will be using them with my on board graphics for now until i get my gpu hdmi on a asrock extram 6 z77 board

my questions

1) what 2 screens should i go for about £200 per screen but less if i can get a way with it

2} how would i connect them as i only have one hdmi port on mobo but would like them to both to be connected via hdmi

3) a good duel screen stand/arm

thanks in advance

1. Honestly couldn't advise.
2. You'll have to explain this, your mobi has one HDMI out but you want to run two screens from this, afaik you can't do this.
3. Don't know.

1. Depends what you're using them for.
2. You should have HDMI, DVI and at least VGA options on your mobo. The Extreme 6 also has Display port.
3. Dunno.

You can't connect two monitors via 1 HDMI, you will need to use the 1 HDMI and either a VGA, DVI or display port connector on your GPU (which you don't have yet).
As for the monitors, have a look at the LG IPS234V, can get them as low as 110 each.

My Setup

Hi,
I have two of these monitors. These have both HDMI and DVI as well as VGA.
You could connect both monitors from one output but as far as I know you can only have the image duplicated not the expanded desktop which you would have if you used to separate cables. I would recommend the monitors I haven't had any problems with them and they seem to be great value for money.

And they are mounted on these wall mounts:

The wall mounts are much cheaper than anything else I could find and do the job just fine. Had the chop the top of the brackets of to stop them sticking out the top.
Anything else I can do to help and if you like I can stick some pics up of my setup.
