help with emails

Has anybody else had this problem im on NTL 10meg broadband and when i open outlook express and click recive mails i get my mail ok if i click it again i get the same emails again ive done it about 4 times now and just had to delete 400 emails ?? each email 100 x4

check your client settings it sound like you have a tick box enabled that says "leave a copy on the server for X days."

Just a guess of course, haven't used Outlook express for ages so not sure where the option is.
