Hi guys,

I've just purchased a Micro ATX system with a GTX980ti, i7-6700K and Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU Cooler. The case I got was a BitFenix Aegis. It comes with one rear exhaust fan so I would like some additional. It has support for 7 fans, 3 on top, 3 on the front and 1 at the bottom (120mm). I was thinking of purchasing BitFenix 2 of the Three Fan Bundle - Spectre PRO 120mm Fan Red LED - Black. However, where should the fans be placed and how many should be intake or exhaust?

Many thanks in advance.

Dan.

Think I'm just going to put 3 as exhaust on the top and 3 as intakes on the front. It would leave one more exhaust fan than intake however I'll just purchase another fan and make this even, think that would be best what do you think?

Hi guys I'm worrying about one thing? I don't have a fan controller so these fans will be 100% all the time. Is that gonna be a problem. Alternatively I could opt for PWM fans

Cheers for the help guys, I'll just leave the fans running 100% they're decent fans nothing cheap. And the motherboard is a Micro ATX ASUS MAXIMUS VIII GENE. The case doesn't having any disk drive bays to fit the fan controller, so possibly have to put in the case if I really wanted it?

Cheers :)
