Help with Folding at Home

Hi, so I've never done this before. I followed the quick guide to get it set up on my laptop. It seemed to be working fine and CPU usage was at 100%. I restarted my laptop and the CPU usage now doesn't seem to go over 50-60%.

I have a Core 2 Duo so I set up one program normally in a sub-folder called 1, no advanced options. Then I set up a second program in a sub-folder called 2 and set it to the 2nd core. I also set the >5MB to yes in both cases, team to 10 and name to JamesTuc in both.

How long does any progress take, both just stay at 0% and I must have left it for at least 1/2 hour?
 
It all depends on the WU being folded and the spec of the processor it is being folded on.

Judging from your OP i am assuming your are just using the standard windows cpu clients and not the smp client.
From memory these wu's do take some time to complete and give very little points
