Help with forum management and configuration (phpBB forum)

Guys I need help changing the domain name of my forum so that it is easier to remember for the members who have joined it.

I have gone into the admin control panel of the forum and tried to change it by typing in a new domain name. But each time I submit it, it just reverts back to the original domain name.

Furthermore how do I disable the guest account on phpBB forums?

Is any of the stuff I have queried even possible?

PS. The forum I have created is by no means a competitor to OcUK forums as it is only a small community forum. However if I have broken any OcUK rules, I can appreciate if this thread needs to be locked.

Ok, so the website address is 123.com and your changing it to abc.com via the phpbb control panel? That only tells the forum where it is so when its sends out urls they're right.

If you want to actually move it to another domain then your gonna have to change it via your hosting control panel and maybe change the nameserver too.

(PS. Sorry if i've said a load of crap, been up 3 mins)

edit: also, if you go into forum permissions and change all views, read, post and reply to 'REG' then only people registered will be able to do those things
