Hi,

I'm wanting to build my first PC, but have very little knowledge on how to do so. I've been looking at the system configuration option but I'm not sure what spec of hardware I'll need.

I'm looking for a full system (everything except a monitor), mainly for casual gaming and other general use. My budget is £800-£1000.

If anyone has any suggestions or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you feel like you cant buid it yourself then something like this.

1 x 24 MONTH WARRANTY - COLLECT & RETURN £0.01
1 x Microsoft Windows 8 64-Bit DVD - OEM (WN7-00403) £71.99

Building a PC these days isn't that hard as it used to be.
As long as you have a list of compatible components, you just follow instructions in manuals.
They were all made for self assembly.
Simply make a thread in 'general hardware' with words 'spec me a casual gaming rig 800-1000£' and you will get a lot of answers with explanations why this choice and not another etc.
And building your own rig is really fun.
Also can be cheaper than pre-built system.
