Help with game choice!

Came across £80 worth of HMV vouchers today, which was nice. Enough to buy two games!

So... what games are they for me to get my grubby paws on?

List of current games = COD4, PES2008, Bioshock, Stranglehold, (amongst a fair few older titles)

Been looking at Kane and Lynch, but come ot the conclusion that it's more of a rental I reckon. So what do you lot recommend?

Guitar Hero 3 + another game and make the difference? Eternal Sonata + Mass effect?

I love the way people "come across" things. Did you find them in the street? Under 3 months worth of old laundry? Behind the back of the sofa? Hehehehe.

Company sent them to me as a bonus for the year I've been with them.

So instead of spending them on the girlfriend and presents for her, I've decided to treat my self!

PGR4 worth it? I have PGR3 and found it realy boring. What's it like online?

Guitar Hero 2 was good, borrowed it from a friend, but not sure on Guitar Hero 3.

orange box, how good is this online too? I used to play a lot of TFC e.t.c, but HL2 bored me and never lived up to it's hype!

is Mass Effect that good?

I'm really not sure about Assassins creed, I think it will be more of a rental, as I've heard it's very repatative and think it would just get boring very quickly! Thanks for the suggestions please keep them up!

Yea that was my worry in regards to Assassins Creed. Think it will be a rental from lovefilm personally.

Any other suggestions? What about games I should keep clear off and not touch with a 20ft barge pole?

Well, what can I say other than bugger?

just come back, had *30 worth of vouchers, but spent £130... bloody hell, girlfriend is going to be happy.

Bought a new headset (as mine is non offical, sucks, and on it's arse).

picked up Mass Effect, Kane and Lynch and Assassins Creed.

GH3 I couldn't find in HMV, so looks like they sold out, and already have Bioshock, Forza2, COD4,

Wasn't interested in Halo, the only other game I thought about was Fifa, but I'm, if any thing, a Pro Evo fan (read fanboy).

Which coincides with Pro Evo 2008 being very poor (by Pro Evo standards).

PES is still good single player (having some great games in *** master league) but it's truely truely awful online. Infact, it's the worst game I've ever playedo n the 360 online it's that bad.

if I can find Fifa cheap, I'll give it a go, it just seems very non-simulation for my liking, I played the demo for an hour but didn't enjoy it.

Might not be worth bothering with FIFA then if you do like the SP, because for me when I say it's poor I mean the core game itself before you even take it online. This was probably the only reason I gave FIFA a chance, but for someone who does like Pro Evo 2008 it doesn't seem worth trying to switch.

It's worth noting that I too hated the FIFA demo at first, but after putting the time into it and getting over the old Pro Evo habits, I can say for sure that FIFA 08 is an excellent footie game. However, you will only appreciate FIFA if you can put the time into it, which I can't see anyone who still likes Pro Evo doing.

Indeed, I'm open to giving it a go, will try and pick up a cheap copy from somewhere (Checks MM and usual suspects).

AGain thanks for the help guys, any one who's online and fancies any type of game (Cod4, PES8, FN3 e.t.c e.t.c) please give me a shout. Would be nice to play against more of you!
