My first post !!! Hiya ladies, Gents. I got a quick Question. I been playing games on an old no frills Headset and its gone bust now. Sooo I need a new one. I hope to use it for BF2142, BF2, UT2K4, Doom III, Quake IV, UT2K7 etc etc. I’m not quite sure what to get.
I have done some searches on the forums here and found loads of suggestions.. still not sure - I just need some Recommendations of you gents please.
I have the Creative SB Audigy soundcard and I have the Creative GD580 Speaker set - When I purchase the Headset should I plug them directly into the Soundcard or should I plug them into the Decoder for my speakers? As the decoder has support for two headphones so that means I would have to plug the MIC part of the Headset into the soundcard?

My budget is £100 that’s about $200 and 150 Euro. At the moment I think I might get one of the following:-

SPEED-LINK MEDUSA 5.1 Home Edition

SENNHEISER PC165 headphones - USB - Now these are USB if I get these can I connect them direclty to the soundcard? as no point getting USB

Tritton AX360 True 5.1 Digital Audio Gaming Headphones
These are just a few I have seen that people say are great. I'm not an expert so thats why i'm asking you gents.
Hope you gents can help (Very sorry for the long post)
Cheers ;)

Hey gents ! sorry for adding links to competitors. These were just random links I took from google not that I was going to buy from them. I will read the forum rules cheers.
ok thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll be ordering the sennheiser 160. You say they are the same as the 165? can you not use the 165 without the USB ie just plug into your sound card? if not looks like i'll be getting the sennheisers from overclockers.
Sorry forgot to mention is the PC155 better then the PC160? and what do you guys this of the Razor barracuda ?
Cheers
