Hi all,

I'm quite the "noob" when it comes to computers so I could use some opinions and possibly help with a better build :)

So far I have:

As you can see I need a case, now I'm unsure which case all of this will fit in.

I like the Antec Twelve Hundred which is pretty huge however it doesn't look like there is enough room for the rather long graphics card:

Any opinions or upgrade possibilities are more than welcome, also forgot to mention at the top I have a budget of around £1300-1500.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply :)

I suppose bluray rewriter would be beneficial as I'm selling my PS3 for funds so I'd be left with nothing to play my DVDs on.

Overclocking is something I would be looking into in the near future, along with dropping in another 5870 when finances allow.

Still need to find a case

Get the G-Skill Ripjaw like 95thrifles suggested, it's faster than the OCZ you've linked to. Either the C9 stuff here or if you're feeling flush get the faster timing C7 stuff here

I actually had a look at the blue Ripjaw that 95 had mentioned, however they were out of stock (maybe still are) so I fished out the low voltage OCZ.

Thanks however, I will pop those in my basket :)

Bad speakers, if your willing to spend more then please do as they're pretty bad.

But if all you'll use them for is for gaming then they could do the job if you don't mind hearing radio through them :P

My £1300 budget is almost capped mate, only got about £15 to spare.

Only thing I need to find tonight is another 5870 graphics card as the XFX one is OOS.

Ordering tomorrow so I need to find one tonight!

Get the Geil Ultra Series 4GB RAM , very quick and better than OCZ you selected.

Get a HAF932 Case, excellent cooling and keeps my components nice and cool, well built with lost of space you can't go wrong.

And don't get them speakers they are pretty ****.

Which will be underclocked to 1600 MHz and keep the faster timings :)

Got the Coolermaster in the basket

Speakers will do for the time being
