Ive got a 8800 GTS 512 card and its working fine except for when im playing games such as l4d2 and fallout3 the fan will blast up to 100% for a few seconds and then reduces itself back down to whatever it was on, by doing this it feels sluggish in the game likes the fps is dropping when its happening.
The way around this i found was to manually have the fan speed at 100% by using rivatuner, but it gets annoying having to do that be4 every game and its really loud when i wanna say watch a movie.
Is this a simple problem of it being too hot? Any help would be great
