hey all

Need some help with My overclocking

I have a brand spanking new Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5

There are so many settings and so far i have gotten no where.

I simply tryed:

BLCK 200
Frequency 20x
CPU Vcore 1.35
CPU VTT 1.35
PLL 1.8 stock now 1.84

Ram set to profile one 2000Mhz 9-9-9-24 1.6v

Now i dont think i required anymore then this changed to get a simple 4GHZ overclock with stock ram speeds 2000Mhz

I start the PC and the Windows animation starts then Blue screens

I have tryed reduceing the BLCK and nope same

Tryed upping volts.. Nope

Anyone got this mobo?

Hi mate what error code are you getting on the blue screen?

Because if it ends with 101 its more vcore or 124 its more vtt.

have you decreased the uncore to 16? I needed to do that to get mine to boot. Also if that doesnt help i7s dont seem to like clocking so well on even multipliers, try 191x21 just to see if it boots.

Edit: Also shouldnt the RAM be running at 1.65 not 1.6?

hey

My I7 can do 210x20 as i had it like that for benching on my DFI

WHats the Uncore?

the ram is 1.6 becuase i couldnt figure out how to change it :/ The BIOS profiler sets it all to stock lol and if i try and change it it edits ALL the values and i dont know what half of them should be at stock lmao

You got a UD5?

Yeah ive got a UD5,

Go into MIT in the BIOS - RAM Voltage is DRAM set it to 1.64

Uncore and QPI settings is near the top of the page and set the Uncore value to x16, also worth setting Load Line Calibration to level 1.

Hope thats helps.
