Help with gigabyte X58 UD3R

Hi there

Have just finished a new build with this board and i7 920 2.88,
and 6gb ram.

It is the same problems as another post a few down from this one.I turned it on and the computer powers up but nothing gets displayed on screen. Not even the start-up screen which appears before the POST screen. But i am getting led light on board. I do get a post beep one short beep then another but about 20 seconds apart and so on. Have built a few pooter in my time but this has baffled me..But this is my first gigabyte board.

Any ideas anyone.>>

Try with one memory module and possible try doing a CMOS reset.

Is the 8 pin for cpu power connected - often gets missed, thought I check.

Have given up 4 tonite will try again tomorrow.

what colour slots is your ram in? mine wouldnt post as they were in the wrong slots

Having the same problem although i bought an overclocked bundle from OCuk so they would have tested it.
