Need some quick advice.

I have an M4 SSD as my primary on the SATA3 connection with my OS

I want to take my 2 x 1TB and set them up as RAID 0 along side my M4
1 x SSD C: 128GB
1 x RAID D: 2TB

The 2 x 1TB are connected to the SATAII connection and is controled by the Z77 chipset

When I go into the bios to set up the raid, I choose SATA MODE to RAID and then save and exit. I set up my RAID 0 configuration and looks all fine.

When I reboot, it goes past post and loads up the windows loading screen for a split second and then blue screen.

Have my setup RAID correctly?
And whats the differance between the onboard chipset Z77 doing the RAID than to the Marvell SATA controlling the RAID?

Mmm.. According to this:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4144#sp

Your mobo has 2 SATAIII for the intel chipset, and 2 more from the Marvell controller..
So, seeing you have only 3 drives, you should put the SSD on a SATAIII port, and the other drives on a SATAIII ports as well..

Seems that the white ones are from the intel chipset, and the grey ones from Marvell..
"* When a RAID set is built across the SATA 6Gb/s and SATA 3Gb/s channels, the system performance of the RAID set may vary depending on the devices being connected."
Maybe you connected one of the drives into a SATAII and other into a SATAIII port???..

Best regards.. :)

I've checked the cables and its not the case of mixing the connectors. The 2 x 1TB hard drives are both in SATAII ports, I've just spent the past hour trailing and error trying to resolve this and it isn't helping.

The intel RAID isn't going to work as I've got an SSD in this setup and when its in RAID mode, its trying to raid off the SSD. I've just also used the Marvel chipset and I can't even get to the screen to configure it Ctrl + M and its not even letting me.

Help.
