Hi, will just do a quick post then reply. Just finished moving all my stuff around and having nothing but trouble with this board, at first it wouldn't boot so I found a kind of fix online, you press the ignition switch in and en power button, then I noticed no display output, I've tried on board and my gpu, at first the gpu wasn't spinning either then I found you had to press the power button twice.

So I have checked all cables, tried all sticks of ram in all slots, CPU is seated correctly, right now there are no graphics cards in just the CPU and two stick of ram, all fans are spinning but no display output.

Please tell me this is a regular problem and there is a fix/work around.

Thanks,

Dane

You tried clearing the BIOS?

Or trying the backup BIOS?

Has this board been working fine before?

Him I've cleared CMOS, removed the battery and tried both bios. The board is from ocuk clearance lines but it's the first time I've used it.

These boards have possibly got to be one of the best things since sliced bread, so solid.

So its not normal.

Is your RAM Crucial make?

What PSU as the AX760i and 860i dont work with the OC ignition.

Ram is corsair xms3 2 x 2gb and psu is evga 1000w gold

Still having a look about the net, didn't get a manual with it so wondering if there's like a switch to disable on board gpu, someone has used it before, there is signs of thermal compound on the top pcie lane

it auto detects whether the gpu is installed or not,if not it should auto use the igpu/gpu depending

tried backup and main bios switches?EDIT: scrap that

Yeh tried both bios switches, put the dedicated gpu back in now, ignition switch was on, pressed power button once to start all fans then again and the gpu fans started, no error codes on the little display, bios 1 light is on. So don't have a clue.

I've also tried a hdmi cable and a dvi to hdmi cable

A celeron g1820, I have an msi z87-g55 which was working with the same CPU, ram and power supply and three r9 270's so I know it's none of them.

how long you cleared cmos for? id try battery out for 30 minutes then try, also try with gpu in each pcie slot one by one

idk how you'd update it without seeing anything on screen:(

You know the CPU power sockets there is a 4 and then an 8 next to it, I have plugged two 4 pins in to the 8 socket so do you think I should try the single 4 pin.

it should work with just 4 pin or 8pin,id say its bios compatibility if what mmj says is true, best thing to do is ask local pc shop or ocuk to flash bios for you using supported chip 4670/4770k
