Help with GPU 1440p

I need advice with GPU.

My spec:

Mobo Foxxcon H61MXL-K
Cpu Intel i5 2320 3.0 GHz
Ram 8GB Corsair Vegance 1333Mhz now (max 1600 Mhz but I need Ivy Bridge CPU)
120GB SSD Kingston V300
PSU Antec True Power 550W

I bought new monitor AOC Q2577PWQ 2560x1440p and I would like play sometimes (older Resident Evil,Tomb Rider or DOOM etc.)

Which GPU (cheapest possible) give me 50FPS?

I would like play in 2560x1440p occasionally so price is very important

Rx 480 is nice but little expensive for my needs.

What do you think about Gigabyte Gtx 960 G1 Gaming 4gb?

Not the best of cards for 1440p , i would go with a second hand 290x/390x if i was on a budget as they offer amazing value for money these days.
