i'm in the middle of speccing and building a new pc. (have a case and ram already just need the rest)

Now my question is, i'm getting the monitor linked, however in the future i will be running a second one as well.

So my question is linked to which gfx card would be capable of comfortably running both of these monitors with moderate gaming as well. Although the gaming possibly would be single screen.

Do i need to go into the £300+ range or can i stick with the £150-250 range as long as i have the right ports on the card.

Thanks for your help.

Slightly off topic but have you considered the Dell U2713HM? Seems to be preferred over the ASUS according to AnandTech...

I read the reviews and there very close i thought. I was swaying to the dell and still might when i come to buying them. I think these really come to pricing at time of purchase as from what i've read they have both been well made although the dell has a few more positives.

In terms of the resolution though and a suitable GPU, would this be able to run both of those comfortably for moderate gaming, as mostly i will be using it for poker and work purposes for multi tasking and the screen real estate as it were.

and this

are two options i've been looking at, the second is for the hdmi 1.4a. I'm going for an all black theme as well for anything close to fitting in that is also a bonus.

What sort of games will you be playing? If you're only going to game on one screen, with the other for just extra such as browser, video, messenger, etc then a 7850/70 will do fine. If it's mostly poker then you can even get away with a 7770 or even lower.

It will be mostly poker with light gaming inbetween, games such as bf3 hitman and a maybe a the odd game like skyrim. But tbh i don't need to play these all on ultra settings etc although it would be nice.

And yes the gaming will be one screen generally, just want to make sure i have as many options covered as to not shell out £200~ now and then another £200+ in the near future.

Is this overkill for one monitor gaming 2560x1440 but running two monitors.
