Help with graphics power leads

Just finishing new build, quick question about what power leads to plug into the graphics card.

The card its self is a Gainward 570 phatom, it has connectors on it for a 6 pin and and 8 pin from the power supply

my power supply only appears to have 6 pin connectors, so i assume 1 goes into the 6 pin on the card.

But what of the 8 pin do i just leave this empty? or to i plug another 6 pin into it?

Theres also a Y lead that turns 2 6pin into and 8 pin ? do i use that ?

yes, you need to make sure both plugs are attached, use the Y lead for the 8pin
