Help with hdtv screen res

Not sure what section this should go in but anway

I have bought a hdtv which can do a resolution of 1366 x 768

so i tell the pc to to output 1360 x 768 (which it shows)

however the tv shows a res of 1280 x 768 and then stretches it to fit the screen


any idea how i would fix this ?


Tv - Hyundai A321
pc - shuttle sn41g2 using onboard gfx
output - VGA cable

The screen is outputting as the VGA Card is showing it, but the TV has a small bug which doesnt report the full resolution.

This has been covered on the MAHOOSIVE thread on av forums.

Small bug, and one hopefully you can live with.

it wasnt actually displaying 1360 x 768 though it had a big black border down one side (which may or may not have been my doing)

however using that mahooosive thread somewhere in there is a guide on how to use powerstrip to overcome this problem and it seems to have done the job.
