My fiancé's grandmother is in a care home, following a stroke.

She is 93 years old and hard of hearing. Because of this, she has the telly up very loud. Unfortunately, other residents are now complaining and she's been told she can no longer have the telly at volume.

We're hoping to get her some wireless headphones, but I'm struggling to find something that meets her needs. I thought the audiophiles here may be able to help.

To start, her telly is quite old. It has no Bluetooth or internet function, so connectivity will have to be either a 3.5mm jack or some kind of Bluetooth transmitter that works through the jack. It needs to be very simply and just work. She cannot get out of bed to turn it on / make adjustments, etc.

The headphones need to be cordless, but charging them has to be easy. She cannot get to a plug socket or charging cable. Realistically, she will probably need some kind of base station to charge them, that can be stood on the table over her bed.

They cannot be bulky. She has diminished muscle use because of being bed ridden. She also only has the use of her left arm.

The TV is approx. 15 feet from her bed.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
