I'm overclocking my free Athlon x2 5600+. My budget motherboard doesn't give me a great deal of options like voltages. One of things I can change is
K8 <-> NB HT Link speed (1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x)
K8 <-> NB HT Link Width (8 8, 16 16)
My FSB is 215.
215 x 5 = 1050MHz. I assume I should keep this under 1000MHz? i.e. if I put it to 4x, I can up the FSB more.
How does this affect memory? I set it as low as possible for now to give it headroom.
FInally, I've set the Link width to 16x 16x because... PCIE not AGP? I dunno
What should it be set as to max my overclocking potential?
