This is a question I am asking for a friend, and I can't seem to answer it so I'm relying on you lot!

"I want to listen to the radio on-line on my HTC HD2 but how"

Someone suggested pandora.com but this is a US site only, and I can't find a UK equivilent?

The phone is on vodaphone, and all the guy wants to do is listen to internet radio, any kind really.

Anyone also know if there is decent user guide out there for it? My shoes come with larger manuals.

Many thanks for any replies guys..

:)

Also are there any firmware updates? He has also been complaining that the phone will text random people, more often than not to someone else in his phonebook other than the recipient.

thanks!

last.fm?

Problem is carriers wont stream content like that (or iPlayer) over 3g so he will have to use wifi.

As for firmware updates check the HTC website, alternatively get him to look at XDA-Developers.com

You can just plug it in and use it like a usb stick if you want, download the app from the internet and then stick it on the device. Then go to the file manager and start it if that's what you mean?

Doens't work this way, doesn't matter where I drop the downloaded file onto it as a usb stick it never shows up in the HD2's file explorer.

Try to download wunderradio from the htc itself using IE, each time I try the download size varies. Lol. This phone is ****.

Will need to disconnect the phone to allow the SD card to be seen again by the file explorer ;)

whats that then?

Marketplace is an app on the phone, just like the app store on iPhones, be in the start menu somewhere

MarketPlace: Click Start Menu, scroll half way down and look for a blue shopping bag with a white Windows logo on it. It will ask you if you want to download the app. Say yes, agree to the T&C then browse the available apps, games, tools, etc.

It should do, either you haven't disconnected it (like mentioned), its broken or you're rubbish.:p

Some people do find WM too difficult and complex for them after being used to dumb phones and the iPhone. ;)
