My set up is
Intel i7-2600k Retail CPU
Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4 B3 motherboard
Kingston Hyper X 8GB 1600mhz Kit
Noctua DH-14 Cooler

I bought the system it was running at 4.6 GHz,

The PC has been left for several months and not plugged into the mains, anyway came to use it again and the mobo battery was dead, fitted new battery, fired it up and the cmos/bios had to be reset, so I am now back to std - i72600 3.4GHz running at 3.7 GHz.
I have tried and tried to put an overclock back on with a 100% failure rate, I cannot get any overclock to work.
I have tried to follow this, but it does not work for me
