this is my first water cooled build and i would like some advice.
I'm hoping to spend around £900 on this.
I've just bought the i7 950 from oc'uk(bargain) and i've also bought a coolmaster cosmos s case . total cost£360 and i already have 2 gtx 260 with water blocks.
I'm looking to add the following.
xspc rs 360 radiator
3 sharkoon silent eagle 120 se's for radiator
xspc dual 750 bay pump /res
heatkiller i7 block
gigabyte ga-x58a mb
ram?
hard drive?
I WAS WONDERIN IF YOU COULD HELP ME WITH A FEW QUESTIONS BEFORE I PROCEED
1 does the gigabyte mother board ship with an inherent noise problem that is not helped with bios updates? are there any fixes? or is this not as big a problem as it looks?
2 are the sharkoons noisy especialy when mounted horozontally in cosmos case at the top?
3 is the pump/res combo very loud compared to others, if so what is a good alternative.?
4 A NY SUGGESTIONS FOR ANY BETTER OR QUIETER SOLUTIONS WITHIN THE SAME PRICE RANGE.?
5 seen the asus 11 rampage on here for ? is this a better board or is it old hat with sata 3gb?
6 sugesstions for hard drive.
7 triple channel ram 3x2gb suggestions
8 A NY ALTERNATIVES TO THE MOTHERBOARD OR IS THIS NOISE PROBLEM NOT AS WIDESPREAD AS IT SEEMS?
