Hi Guys

I have moved into a new rented house and have a new boiler to work out. There aren't any manuals but I want to see if I can understand how to ignite it before calling the agency / a gas engineer. It's a Potterton Prima F30, with a picture below.

I think I just need to make sure the electrical supply to the boiler is on, then have the big dial set to 0, and then try pressing in the ignition switch which I believe is in the round hole on the underside.

The problem is, when I try pressing in what I believe is the ignition switch, you can't sense any movement in the switch, and there's no noise as if something was trying to ignite. I know the gas is on to the property as the cooker works.

Does anyone know how this procedure should work? I may just leave it to an expert to show me, but I'd be interested to know.

Thanks
