Help. I need info on this. WW2..

Hey. My dad has got this tank shell thing and wondered if anyone can tell me anything about it?
It says 1944 so from world war 2 but that's about all i know about it.
Does anyone know if it's worth anything?

I doubt it. We've got a cup type thing made out of a big shell like that, and about six rifle bullets. I think there's lots of them about, after all plenty of spent shells in the War!

Edit: Bloody hell, big though isn't it that one!
