I just recently built my new pc which is going great apart from when i try to view videos or browse the net the videos are forever buffering, and i know its not down to my internet cause the still run quick on my ipad and they ran quick on my previous pc, what could be causing this ? any help would be greatly appreciated

nice username :D

sounds like it could be a Router issue but honestly it would be miraculous if someone correctly diagnosed your problem from what little info you have provided.

i gather its a wireless connection then. Sometimes routers can be fussy about what wireless receiver they are paired up with, however if that was the case you would have seen a more general drop in Internet performance rather than just video's, i take it from youtube. powering off your router for a couple of mins is the first thing you should do when you get internet woes from my experience, i doubt it will help in this instance but its worth a try. best advice i can give is download firefox and download the flashplayer through that (you get the link when you try to watch youtube from a freshly installed firefox)

Tried right click on the video and settings then turn on hardware acceleration.

Try internet explorer 9 and Firefox also to check its not Chrome.
