Help with iPod Classic? (I think)

Hi guys,

Friend has given me their 80Gb iPod Classic to look at. I think it's a classic, not sure, aluminium back, quite wide, large screen, click wheel, etc.

It doesn't turn on, no life at all. It was left in a tent overnight and when she came back to it it just didn't work. She thinks the cold has damaged it.

I've tried the "press center wheel and menu at the same time" for 10 seconds, nothing.

Anything else I can try before we get Apple to have a look?

Have you tried plugging it in to a computer?

Does sound suspiciously flat lol.

Indeed. Get it on charge and it'll probably be fine. Remember that if the battery is dead it might not show on the screen for a little while. Just leave it a few hours and see what happens.

Left it charging overnight, nothing. Plug it in to a PC, nothing

hmm, dead battery possibly then, possible to replace though, I'm sure that there are people around that offer the service. It'll be the cheapest option as I'm assuming it's OOQ now?
