Help with ipod

hello ppl, quick question!

i got a new ipod (video one) ive downloaded different songs by the same artist. now when i put the different songs by the same artists on the ipod, if i then scroll on the ipod to artists its got 2 different folders with the same artist name. Is there a way to put it under just the one folder?

I think in iTunes (assuming you use it), highlight all the songs by the same artist and edit the details, type the name of the artist in again and click ok, should reset them all.

If you've got an IPOD you will have to learn about TAGGING files.
Tagging is hidden information inside the MP3 but players like the IPOD read this information and use that on your screen.
In I-Tunes right click on the track and go to GET INFO and you will see what TAGS are or where to put them.
You can choose more than one song, right click, Get Info and multi tag.
I use another free program called ID3-Tagit which does a better job (for me).
