Last night i premade lasagne, cooked in the pan and the sheets weren’t cooked, i left it in the oven over night by accident and as i forgot to put it in the fridge last night i put it in the fridge this morning, I’m cooking it today for dinner , and i have a son coming back later tonight looking to have some reheated in the microwave, Will this be safe for any to eat and who would be in danger?

I make lasagne and don't bother putting it in the fridge. I just leave it in the oven. Sometimes I eat it 3 days later... Clean ovens that have just been heated to >100c for some time are pretty good places to keep food. Not much going on in there.

What do you mean by the sheets weren't cooked? Top tip, put the sheets in hot water before you put them in the lasagne. They're easier to deal with as you can cut them then and not break them. They'll also cook faster.

That’s fine then , and i only cooked the mince and the sheets were just placed on top and left in the oven which was cold, also will it be safe to further reheat that in the microwave when my sons back

Just mainly worried about getting food poisoning and always have been tbh
That's fair enough, it's not fun

I've only had it once but that was from some garlic mushrooms at a restaurant of all things.

Never had a problem reheating things though but, like i say, if in doubt i overly recook them and make sure it's piping hot all the way through.

I just hate the idea of wasting food.

Lasagne is impervious to germs and bacteria. I can attest to this having eaten it countless times over the years after leaving it out on the side for more than one night. Added bonus is it definitely improves with age.

Also using lasagnA in the title and lasagnE in the post is annoying. A is singular, E is plural (when referring to the actual pasta sheets), so the dish as whole should be written with an E.

er - since the sheets weren't yet cooked, unlike the added (hot/warm) sauce ... they had nor been pasteurized(ie bacteria on them) ?,
so OK for 24hours outside of fridge, in the UK .. but not much longer.

I Don't use a microwave ... but - do they succeed in cooking a lasagne made with uncooked/dry sheets ? versus using an oven over a much longer period(50mins say 170c);
