Help with macbook pro please

update my macbook yesaday now when i close the screen the monitor will not turn on
the mackbook coming out of sleep the monitor turns green but then just goes off if i have the macbook open the screen works fine any ideas please

no software updates

Right mate. There is the 10.5.2 update, graphics update.

Then there are various MBP updates.

Have all of these been installed?

In that case, it sounds like a bug. When does it do it? When you close the lid, put it to sleep, open the lid again and then the screen goes green?

i close the lid and wake it up but the monitar does not startup i think its a new bug with the updates
