I've been using a mac mini as a Plex client for a long time now (about 6 years) and it's worked well, however since the Mini doesn't have an HDMI port I'v been using a DVI-HSMI adapter for video and a set of Audio leads from the audio output on the Mac.
The problem I have is my new TV won't allow me to use the HDMI Video AND the L/R components connections for audio.
Any ideas how I can get it to work?
