can anyone teach me how to work out percentages please, I'll supply examples . . .

I want to work out how many percent extra the green figures are over yellow!

green divided by yellow. x100. minus 100.

140.675%
It's 40.675% greater.

To work out the percentage change you need this formula:

(New - Old) / (Old)

or in this case, from yellow to green would be

(Green - Yellow) / Yellow

562.5-400 = 162.5

162.5 / 400 = 0.406

0.406 * 100 = 40.6 %


Now you can work the rest out for yourself

Your first one is wrong, there, Wesley. 28.8% of 400 is not 162.5
