i have windows MCE and am finding just one problem with it at the moment that i can remeber. It is that as im on a network at my house it asks me to sign in whenever i start up my cmoputer, which i find hugely annoying as i like to just leave my computer starting up while i do something else then just come back to it and its fully loaded ready for me to use. What i would like to know is, is there a way in which i could prevent this from happening? i used to use windows98 and it never askked me to sign in. i have no password for my account if that makes and difference.

thankyou

Go to Start -> Run and type "control userpasswords2"
Deselect "user must enter a username and password to use this computer"
Click apply
It will ask for a default username and password to use when booting, select your chosen user account
This will get rid of the username/password prompt when powering on the system

I think that should do it.

If you have installed the .net framework as required for most MCE applications then just delete the .net account that is automatically created. Problem solved
