Had a media centre for some time now and runs well and a usefull piece of kit in the lounge. I have always had problems with dvd's however and so used dedicated dvd players and left the media centre for pics,home vids and music. I now have a Bluray player which I cannot play my region 1 dvd's on and now use my media centre for this purpose. I cannot for some reason get 5.1 from the system when using windows media just PCM stereo but can from Asus dvd program that came with the rewriter ???? Any ideas????
I want to get the best quality I can and so would like some help on any suitable upgrades that would make the best changes. I am thinking dvd reader writer, graphics card. anything else please advice.
