Hello,

If anyone could look at the screenshot below and confirm that I have set my memory timings correctly that would be very helpful. I really dont understand them very well and I have no idea if it is all running correctly:

I have

Memory: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-041-GS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

Mobo: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-366-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1481

I assume the RAM frequency should be showing 1600mhz (which I have set it as in the BIOS) but here is it only showing 800mhz

I also cant figure out how to adjust that FSB:DRAM ratio in the BIOS.

Heheh

Thanks BW: I posted this here before reading all the responses in overclocking.

I had the quad core unlock stability tested last night, so I am very happy with that.

I am going to take your advice and run everything stock for a while to see what is what.

The memory seems sorted, now I just have to wait for ATI to sort out their new driver release!

You are correct that tere are so many setting to look at for overclocking; despite having a stable system with 4 cores on auto (asus REALLY need applauding for their BIOS releases) I think that any overclock will need a lot of tweaking with voltages to the RAM, Northbridge and CPU which I am not going to attempt for a while.

I shall keep the overclocking section updated in a couple of weeks when I have a better understanding of the BIOS. I am still in kid in a candy store mode with this PC though :D
