Help with menu system ?

I am working on a web design idea and have spotted a javascript based menu system I really like and would like to try and impliment into my own site. The menu can be found here....

Anyone any ideas how this works and if it can be modified from the source available on that site ?

If you want a nice menu then don't be messing with this javascript nonsense. Head over to http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/index.html and get a nice CSS-based menu.
