Hi, i just bought the lian li ao5 to replace my old case. I have just taken all the components out and replaced them in the new case. the unpleasant moment of truth came when i pressed the power button, got the motherboard screen up and then it read "CMOS checksum error". I looked this up and found it could be the mobo battery so replaced that but still had the message. I then pressed F1 on the screen and it has since not appeared, however now no USB components work, either on the mobo ones or the external ones. Any ideas appreciated as i don't know where to start. Thanks.

Locate the manual for the Mobo and then look for the Jumper which resets cmos. Follow the manuals instruction on how to clear cmos. And reboot and enter BIOS to set your hard drives, overclocking etc. TBH it sounds like you havent installed all the parts correctly, such as memory. Make sure the ram sticks are firmly connected (depower first)
