Help with movies on 360

I'm under the impression that 360 will allow me to play movies placed on DVD.

I have a movie which I'd like to play in MP4 format, Video is encoded in H264 format, and the Audio is AAC, both which are supported.

Now the problem is, I believe. The 360 only support MP4 2 channel audio playback.

Is there a program out there which will help me convert my 5.1 audio to 2 channel? Without touching any of the video

hmm, That doesnt like the fact my file is already MP4 format, rather than MKV?

I've done some googling, And someone has recommended avidemux on another forum, So I'm gonna try that.

I think I've managed it, Bit worried as the laptop shows the audio behind, But its a low spec laptop. So fingers crossed its just the laptops handling lol, time to burn and find out

Excellent, It's perfect, No stuttering, No Lag. I'm well happy, This is playing from a DVD disk. I guess next step is finding out how it streams.
